Virtual Summit
The Virtual Summit was created when Knovva Academy’s MG20 summit was affected by the coronavirus pandemic back in 2020. Knovva could no longer bring students together due to contagiousness of the disease. So the next best solution was to bring the students together virtually. To do this successfully, we needed to ramp up our promotional materials and Summit theme. Materials we produced were promotional videos, brochures, flyers, newsletters, informal documents, and powerpoint presentations.

Challenges
One challenging aspect of this project was coming up with visuals that would fit the virtual nature of this summit. We decided on a cyberpunk design style, but needed to choose color and tones that were best to match the Knovva brand and look cyberpunk. We also needed to think about fun cyberpunk graphics effects that can further push the virtual theme of the summit.
Solutions
For the colors, we decided to go with blues and purples colors because they were already Knovva brand colors. These colors also looked great when giving them a bright neon effect that helped give a more cyberpunk/virtual feeling. I also created a lot of illustrations and motion graphics that further illustrated the virtual theme, such as the virtual students standing around the table, the interface prompts that pop on the screen, and even the MG20 logo digital effect that closes the video.
