The Tibetan Monster

Published by j-smith on

The Tibetan Monster is my college thesis project. It’s an animated short film about a story of a small creature that has a love for collecting many kinds of feathers but has recently experienced a terrible loss due to his hobby. Traumatized, he continues to collect feathers but eventually runs into a situation that has similar reminiscent to his past and prevents him from continuing collecting feathers. The small creature returns home and contemplates weather to give up on collecting feathers or overcome his fear and prepare for a better future. Currently the film is still under production with Part 1 of the film that was submitted to the University.

My animated film is 100% a solo project. I am responsible for all the modeling, rigging, texturing, and animating. All 3D modeling and animation was created using Autodesk Maya.
